Prayers Appreciated

This will be a little bit of a different post tonight. I will not be doing my normal journalling this evening. I am scheduled for surgery in the morning to remove a large ovarian tumor, and I have so many things to get done before then...I know I won't have time tonight to gather my thoughts to write. So, I thought I'd send this quick update.

I'm not sure exactly how I feel at the moment, partially because I am trying to get so many things done due to the season. But I do feel at rest and at peace. The doctor has given me a few scenarios of how it will go in the morning, and I won't know what the outcome will be until I wake up. It could be a routine surgery that will require only 2 weeks recovery, or it could be more in-depth due to some possible challenges that could require 6 weeks recovery. I'm praying for a miracle and no surgery needed. God is a miracle-working Saviour!

So many of you have been journeying with me over the past few weeks, so I thought I would reach out to you all to keep me in your prayers. I am so thankful for your prayers and encouragement for our family throughout this difficult season.

Please pray for the medical team as well tomorrow, and believe with me for good reports and a positive outcome.

I will leave you with a verse of scripture that I read today during my devotional time...it encouraged me greatly:

"Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong." I Corinthians 16:13
