Only Believe

Today was tough. It was touch-and-go for most of the day, but Mom is strong. She is the strongest woman I know. It is so difficult to lay aside our senses when believing for a miracle. We cannot go by what we see, what we hear, or what we are told. We have to only believe in the promises in the Word of God. We are so thankful for all of the prayers and encouragement that we have received throughout this unexpected storm. One verse of scripture that has been shared with me several times is Luke 18:27 that states, “what is impossible with man is possible with God.” We are staring down an impossibility. But, we still believe in a faithful, loving, powerful God. He is the only One who can make Mom’s miracle possible.

We don’t know what tomorrow holds, but we have been asked by God to take it one day at a time. Although my heart hurts beyond measure, I am thankful that by His grace and mercy, He allowed us another day to tell Mom how much we love her and to believe for the impossible to be made possible.
