One Day At A Time

At the beginning of each year, Dad spends time with the Lord to seek His face for wisdom on the year ahead. During our Watch Night Service for 2025, he shared with our church that God gave him only 5 words for this year: ONE DAY AT A TIME. That's it. Nothing fancy. Just one day at a time. We have seen this play out over and over this year with so many unexpected twists and turns. We've literally had to take 2025 one day at a time.

Yesterday we meet with Mom's oncologist. She shared with us some information and details, but then she said something that completely blew us away. She said, "we will take this ONE DAY AT A TIME." Exactly what the Lord gave to Dad on January 1st of this year! She actually said it twice. In the Bible, whenever anything was said twice, it signified emphasis... this is something that we needed to pay attention to! It was a sign to us from the Lord. God has got this! We will just take this storm we are in one day at a time and trust Him for every step of the way.
