God Is Good

I've had so many friends reach out asking about how yesterday went, so I thought it best to just do a quick post.

All I can say is that God is good! He lead me through the surgery yesterday and kept me safe. I had no fear or nervousness at all, which is an absolute miracle in itself! The doctor removed the large benign tumor and it was done in the least invasive way. So, my recovery time should only be a couple of weeks. The doctors were prepared for any complications due to my congenital anomaly and collateral veins, but praise the Lord, there were no complications!

Thank you all so much for your prayers yesterday! I know that the Lord heard your prayers, and I certainly felt them.

I may not be doing any of my usual journaling in the next couple of days as I rest and recuperate, but hoping to start writing again soon... it helps me process this season in my life.
